To ensure that our students get the best learning and development environment, parents of students of the NUS High School have formed a Parent Support Group (PSG). The PSG forges a strong sense of community between parent and parent, and parent and school. It provides a platform and opportunity for parents to dialogue and exchange ideas amongst themselves and with the school on topics ranging from education, welfare, development and community spirit. In so doing, The PSG builds a lasting partnership between the school, students and parents to ensure that our students step into the world as leaders and are best prepared to face the challenges of the future. All parents and guardians of students attending the NUS High School can join the PSG. We encourage you to be involved by attending the PSG meetings and Forum. Click on NUS High School Parent Support Group Forum to access current topics of discussion. This is a forum restricted to parents and guardians of the NUS High School. To register, please send an email to Join Forum.
School Family Education (SFE) is one of the recommendations of Family Matters! SFE adopts a holistic family learning model – equipping parents with effective parenting skills and training them to be parent facilitators, helping school staff to enhance their family life, and providing students with life skills training. NUS High is proud to come under the SFE programme. We will be tapping on the programmes available under this programme to promote family life. You may want to contact Mrs Loh Mai Hong at maihong@highsch.nus.edu.sg to find out about the latest courses. Please click here for Parenting Books-LIST (2008)
