Programmes, activities, events and contexts are classified under Adventure, Leadership, Partnerships, Heart and Achievement (ALPHA) which serves as the platform for achieving the school vision in our students.
Adventure – Opportunities are provided to encourage students to step out of the comfort zone of the home and the classroom. Some of these activities include camps, overseas expeditions, exchange programmes, work attachments and other enrichment programmes.
Leadership – Our leadership development programmes aim to equip students to face the challenge of leadership. There are ample opportunities for students to serve as leaders among the Student Council, Peer-Support Leaders and other student leadership bodies.
Partnerships – The school proactively forms partnerships with local and overseas institutions to broaden our students’ learning experience. Some of our partners include the National University of Singapore, ASTAR Singapore, DSTA, DSO, Science Centre Singapore, Southwest CDC, the MOE Gifted Education Branch, the Beijing No. 4 High School and many more.
Heart – We hope that our students share their knowledge, time and resources with those who are less privileged than they are, so as to make the world a better place for everyone. Students can initiate their own projects or choose among several avenues to serve the community at large through the Service Learning and Community Involvement Programme.
Achievement – With so many opportunities available to our students, we want to recognize those who achieve peaks of excellence. There are many competitions and awards that recognize students holistically such as the Eagles Award for leadership and service, Olympiad Medals for mathematics and science, Colours Awards for co-curricular activities.
The following programmes are put in place to develop the student holistically and for the entire student body to develop the P.A.T.H. in everyone.
