The NUS High School badminton CCA was set up in 2005 with only 20 recreational members. Currently, we have up to 40 recreational and competitive players in the badminton family in 2009. Our focus has shifted onto excellence in the sport. We are determined to sharpen our skills to develop a high quality school badminton team to compete and achieve in various badminton tournaments. Our B division boys, for the first time, have competed in the West Zone Inter-School Badminton Championships 2009.

Our training sessions are conducted every Monday and Friday afternoons with 2 different time slots for school team players and recreational players. We strive to improve our badminton skills and levels through training the following main aspects of badminton include: footwork, control, speed, accuracy, tactics and fitness. We believe that we would be able to build up our characters through the 4 core values: teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership and resilience. We will learn to have integrity and self discipline through the sport. All of us will become leaders in all aspects, no matter whether in play or at work. We trust that we would gain experiences through taking part in competitions and tournaments to improve our skills, strengthen our sportsmanship and promote our team spirit.
