Fibonacci was born Leonardo of Pisa and also known as Leonardo Pisano, Leonardo Bonacci, Leonardo Fibonacci. He was born circa 1170 and lived until 1250.

Fibonacci was an Italian mathematician and considered by some to be the most talented mathematician of the Middle Ages. He was credited with the spreading of the Hindu-Arabic numeral system in Europe, primarily through the publication in the early 13th century of his Book of Calculation, the Liber Abaci, as well as for the modern number sequence named after him known as the Fibonacci number series, which he did not discover but was used as an example in the Liber Abaci.

Fibonacci persevered in spreading the merits of the Hindu-Arabic numerical system. His efforts to promote an advantageous system of computation over an outmoded one are commendable and worth emulating.

Fibonacci House also achieved 1st placing for Cheerleading Competition from 2005 – 2007.
