In Chinese Orchestra, we have several professional and reputable instructors to guide us through our learning journey. We experiment and learn to play with different styles and techniques to further our skills in our chosen instrument. Along the way, we pick up leadership skills and learn responsibility, and cultivate a habit of continual practice and independent learning. We also have ample opportunities to work as a team, at the same time acquire coordination skills and support each other through our music!
Together, we form a group of 25 people. Small we may be, but we have players who are hardworking and skillful. Along with our two professional instructors, we strive for the best.
Joining the Chinese Orchestra has enabled many to have the skill of being able to play a Chinese instrument, for example the erhu or pipa, thus expanding our musical knowledge. Because of this, many will be able to come in touch with the Chinese culture through musical aspects!
Nonetheless, we form a united team, to show others the musical side of the Chinese culture.
