Art Club

The Art Club is a place where students with a shared interest in art gather and create works; they learn from each other and build confidence in showing their works to members of the public through exhibitions. But most of all, it is where friendships are built.

Some activities include mural painting, print-making, T-shirt design, animation, paper-cutting and ceramics.

Part of the culture of the club is to hold an annual Art Camp where members bond through activities and shared meals such as a steamboat or barbecue dinner.

In 2007, students exhibited their works at the Esplanade, along with local and international artists.

Students designed the school mascot and made an animation using clay and stop-motion techniques to be featured as part of the school’s official opening ceremony in 2007.

During the Singapore Biennale 2008, the club members went on several field trips to view the different sites of the Biennale, gaining exposure to various forms of artwork from all over the globe.
