Heart@NUS High School
At NUS High, we believe strongly that active participation in community service will help to develop a sense of social responsibility, compassion and empathy. Therefore, we have adopted a school-wide approach to service-learning. Service-Learning focuses not only on the service, but also has specific learning goals in mind. Students are given the opportunity to initiate projects under the guidance of a teacher mentor.
Service-learning in NUS High is conducted through the various CCAs and through the execution of these projects, students learn to apply their interests towards serving the community and find out that service can be fun too!
